History

2015

With completion of the new building earlier this year, warehouse and inventory management as well as all other operational and administrative activities are transferred from tectraxx Wiener Neudorf to GW Maria Lanzendorf.

2014

Relocation of transport handling from tectraxx Wiener Neudorf to Gebrüder Weiss site at Maria Lanzendorf. Work commences on construction of a warehouse at GW terminal in Maria Lanzendorf for exclusive use by tectraxx.

2013

Relocation of the Thales main warehouse from tectraxx Strebersdorf to tectraxx Wiener Neudorf.

2012

tectraxx celebrates its tenth anniversary and makes the issue of sustainability a priority.

2011

Working in collaboration with its Teneso partners, tectraxx consolidates its Technical Distribution operations in the B2B segment, taking on the transportation of sensitive consignments, including installation on behalf of prominent medical engineering manufacturers and customers in the printing and imaging sector. The IT Solutions side of the business is also expanded, with the development of Axapta as a complete tool for monitoring logistic flows such as Transport Solutions or Repair Logistics with IAP.

2010

tectraxx becomes a partner in the Teneso European Network, taking on responsibility for the Austrian and Eastern European markets.

2009

Takeover of MCL Service and subsequent opening of the tectraxx Repaircenter; expansion of Repair Solution operations with technical services for home entertainment electronics (TVs, hi-fi equipment, navigation systems etc); joined the Eseco network.

2007

Expansion of Home Delivery B2C, providing on-site services, i.e. assembly, connection to the mains and installation of brown and white appliances such as TVs and washing machines.

2006

Launch of Home Delivery B2C service and development of Transport Solution network; first partnerships with mail order companies. Expansion of Transport Solution service portfolio with the addition of special Home Delivery services for large appliances (delivery to point of use, unpacking and disposal of old appliances). New transport hubs opened in Graz, Linz, Salzburg-Bergheim und Hall in Tirol to consolidate Austria-wide network.

2004

E. T. Logistics taken over and integrated into Wiener Neudorf site; expansion of Repair Solution with additional technical services; in-house development of Navision Axapta IT system commences; first edition of tecvision published!

2003

Opening of Wiener Neudorf site; consolidation of Value-Added Warehousing with the addition of Device Logistics and Set Packing for a well-known multinational mobile phone provider; tectraxx headquarters relocated to Wiener Neudorf site.

2002

Founded as a separate business unit of Gebrüder Weiss and based at Strebersdorf; first appearance of tectraxx brand name on the market. Services offered: Value-Added Warehousing, Repair Solution, Technical Distribution for customers operating in the telecommunications sector.
