”The consolidation of technical and logistical services into one customer-focused complete solution.”

This was the guiding principle behind the decision by Gebrüder Weiss in 2002 to found the tectraxx service brand.

2010
On 1 January 2010, tectraxx became a partner in the pan-European Teneso Europe SE network, taking on special responsibility for Austria and the CEE countries. TENESO Europe SE is Europe’s leading hi-tech logistics and transport specialist for sensitive and high-value products. It has considerable expertise in direct delivery to end customers, positioning, installation, storage and integrated logistic solutions.

2009
On 1 January 2009, tectraxx acquired MCL Service GmbH. MCL’s 18-strong workforce handles around 30,000 repair jobs per year, mainly home entertainment and IT systems. The takeover has opened up contact with 30 or so major manufacturers from these two sectors.

With the acquisition of MCL Service GmbH, tectraxx automatically became a co‑proprietor of Electronic Service Cooperation GmbH (Eseco for short). Based in Vienna, Eseco is a joint venture between 15 fully independent service suppliers and is the largest independent customer service cooperative for electronic equipment and household appliances in Austria. With well over 200 service specialists, all extensively trained in customer care, the cooperative provides servicing and logistics to a uniform standard across the nation for manufacturers, importers, specialist dealers and other retail outlets.

tectraxx takes on the status of a branch office

2007
Opening of the tectraxx office in Klagenfurt.

2006
Beginning of partnership with mail order companies; this makes necessary the more recent expansion of the service portfolio in the ”Transport Solution” . On-site services such as the installation, connection and set-up of brown and white goods (TV sets, washing machines etc.) now become as much a part of the product range as the installation of whole multimedia systems for the end customer.

2005
tectraxx takes on branch office status at the Gebrüder Weiss site in Vienna.

Expansion of the service portfolio in the ”Transport Solution” . Services include making deliveries to end customers (B2C) as well as various on-site services for customers (transfer to site of installation, unpacking and removal of packaging materials).

2004
Takeover of E. T. Logistics by tectraxx and integration into the Wiener Neudorf operation. With this takeover, tectraxx launches its new ”Technical Services” product, e.g. the repair of mobile phones.

Opening of the tectraxx office in Graz (sharing premises with Gebrüder Weiss Graz).

Opening of the tectraxx office in Hall/Tirol (sharing premises with Gebrüder Weiss Hall).

2003
Opening of the new tectraxx office in Wiener Neudorf. The long-term plan is to make Wiener Neudorf the tectraxx HQ

2002
First market entry under ”tectraxx” umbrella brand.

Immediately upon market launch, a logistics order is won with a new UMTS mobile phone operator.

Tectraxx expands its product portfolio in added-value logistics with services such as functional tests and document logistics.
